Women of the Akha tribe wear an elaborate headdress decorated with coins and metal balls. The coins are often old Indian rupees from around 1900. The more coins in her headdress, the richer the woman. Shan State, Myanmar.

Printed on acid free museum grade Canson Baryta Photographique 310 gsm paper using archival pigment based ink. Sizes are in cm and include a 1.5 cm white border around the photo. Signed and dated on the back.
